Dr. Carlo D’Emilio holds a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Ontario and a Bachelor of Human Kinetics (Honours) degree from the University of Windsor where he played varsity soccer. Additionally, he is certified in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and is currently completing courses in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture and working towards his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) designation both to be completed in December 2014. He is an active member of the College of Chiropractors of Ontario, the Ontario Chiropractic Association, and the Canadian Chiropractic Association. He believes in patient-centred care and takes a holistic and individualized approach towards each patient while focusing on four main principles: 1. Symptom/pain relief 2. Assessing and correcting dysfunctional movements 3. Functional rehabilitation 4. Patient education
