Dean Hammer, Psy.D. earned his master’s degree from Yale Divinity School and his doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Antioch University New England. He teaches clinical psychology at Antioch; and he has been a practitioner for the past thirty years. His areas of specialization include the treatment of anxiety and depression, substance abuse and eating disorders, and couples/family problems. He continues to pursue his special interests in spiritually oriented psychotherapy and clinical supervision. Dr. Hammer employs a variety of approaches in his counseling including: Narrative, Cognitive-Behavioral, Relational, and Mediation therapies.
