I specialize in several areas with both Teenagers and Adults: - Family and Relationship Conflict - Marriage Counselling - Co-parenting - Trauma & PTSD - Addictions - Borderline Personality Disorder - Suicide & Self Harm - General Counseling
Through these areas topics such as anger, anxiety, depression, emotion regulation, impulsivity, relational dynamics, communication, and dissociative experiences are common. My approach is based in Solution Focused and Strength Based interventions designed to empower clients to find solutions that work for them.
Often, helping clients see the options, challenges, and limitations in front of them can help clarify both the problem and the solution and allow them to take control over difficult situations and experiences.
Clients often comment that they appreciate my frank and honest style. I’m not necessarily here to make you feel better, I am here to help you resolve the problems you may be facing with unbiased and direct feedback.
