Jon graduated with honors and attendance excellence in June 2008 from Ashmead School of Massage (now Everest) in Vancouver, WA. In addition to completing the massage therapy program, Jon also specialized in Sports and Clinical Massage as well as Spa Therapies passing the Aromatherapy Foundation exam.
In early 2008, Jon was also accepted as an intern with the Portland Timber soccer team as part of his clinic assignment. He continued working with the Portland Timbers on a volunteer basis during the 2009 and 2010 seasons. As of March 2011, he became one of the official massage therapists for the Portland Timbers.
In July 2008, he began his second program in Sports & Clinical massage. Upon completing his second program in September 2008, he was hired on at Everest College as a Teaching Assistant and Resource Center Facilitator. Jon also completed training with The American Red Cross as a certified First Aid/CPR instructor.
