Roberto has an honours Acupuncture Diploma, holds certifications in Korean Hand Acupuncture, and Facial Rejuvenation (Cosmetic Acupuncture) . He has also completed courses in Medical Qigong and Tuina massage and is studying Zen shiatsu and Japanese Nagano/Kiiko style acupuncture therapy. Roberto’s interest in Eastern healing practices began over 20 years ago when he took courses in Zen meditation to overcome anxiety and fears related to university exams. Subsequent meditation practices led him to South Korea where he spent almost 5 years. There, he continued meditation practices, took courses and workshops while teaching English and visiting several countries in Far East Asia. A knee injury during Taekwondo led him to discovering Korean Hand Acupuncture Therapy, which he learned for his recovery.
