I have always been drawn to alternative healing as a child, I believe having had all sorts of digestive issues most of my childhood and young adult life, I always was searching for some other way other than medications. I had finally came to a point in my life after trying many prescriptions and none of them helping or curing me, I had received my first massage and it was then that I realized massage was of a great interest to me and the way of healing.
I attended Cortiva Institute in Woodridge Illinois. I received my Massage Therapy License upon completion of my program in 2011. I have focused my practice on Swedish Therapeutic Massage and pursued additional certification in Deep Tissue Massage Oct 2012. I am also pursuing Essential Oils Therapy, specifically Raindrop Therapy. I will only continue to increase my skills as time goes on. It brings a smile to my face when my clients can walk away feeling more relaxed and experiencing less tension and pain.
